I graduated in history of art at Leiden University in 2004. After that I took several courses in sculpting, drawing, painting and jewelry making in Rotterdam and Schoonhoven and started to work as an independent visual artist. Though I mostly paint in oil, I like to experiment with other materials as well...
My recent work involves portraying the expression and interaction of people, particularly lovers, by focussing on the eyes and hands as the main means to communicate.
